Hard-fighting, high-performing and yet underrepresented and underpaid: female athletes know that for the same social recognition, they have to perform better than their male counterparts. Women's sport receives little attention, it lacks media presence. Without a narrative, there are no stars without stars, no role models for girls* and women*. It is time that female athletes, their achievements and their stories become more visible. That they stand on an equal footing with their male colleagues.
